TAKE 2! Okay, so midway through last week I had to take another break. I was having such a hard time sticking to the diet. I couldn't figure out why I suddenly had so little willpower. Then I dawned on me that most of the time I was dieting I had been nursing so fluctuating hormone levels each month hadn't been an issue for me. About 4 weeks ago I had this same issue with struggling to stick with the diet. I felt really bloated and fat and just craved junk food. I put all that together and realized that for my own sanity every 4 weeks I will just have to take a break from the diet. I think I'm finally really ready to get back into it but I also feel like the clock is against me if I only have 4 weeks before my momentum will have to stop again. Kinda sucks, but what can you do. At this point I'm not sure where my stopping point will be. It's not as much about the number on the scale as the fit in the clothes. I'd like to see if I can melt away some of the pounds that are hanging around my midsection. Other than that I think I look good and can be happy with where I'm at. I was glad to see that I barely gained despite all the gorging I did this past week. I kept up with my exercise so that was good to see that I can maintain pretty well just by sticking with my exercise. Well, that was not a very exciting weigh in but hopefully next week I'll be closer to where I had been.
