Measurement Progress

Waist(I measured my "true" waist which is about where my mom jeans would lay if I wore those)- THEN: 38.5 in. Before: 32 in. NOW: 29 in.
Stomach(I measured across my belly button)- THEN: 48 in. Before: 36.5 in. NOW: 33.5
Hips- THEN: 46 in. Before: 38 in. NOW: 38 in.
Thighs- THEN: 27 in. Before: 23 in. NOW: 22 in.
Biceps- THEN: 13 in. Before: 12 in. NOW: 11 in.
Body fat- THEN- 57%Before : 36.6% NOW: 30%
Muscle- THEN- 30% Before:36.5% NOW: 40%

So that's another 10 inches I've lost since I last updated my measurements. Not too shabby! You get use to what you see in the mirror every day so it's helpful to look back and see the actual numbers and the progress you've made. So if only I could get that stomach measurement down a few more inches I could be content.

10/11 Weigh In Week 58

Loss for the week: 1 lb.

Original weight: 208.4 lbs
Last weeks weight: 149.0 lbs
Current weight:148.0 lbs.
Total loss to date:60.4 lbs.

This weigh in is a day late because yesterday was my birthday and I enjoyed it a little too much! I had cheesecake, cupcakes and doughnuts and I spent the day shopping. I think I got all that splurging out of my system and am ready to get my head back in the game. Shopping was motivating because I felt like I looked really good in the clothes I was trying on so I know that in a few more lbs. I'll look awesome. Really mostly that tummy area is where that fat is just hanging around. We took the kids to a park the other day and I tried doing a pull up. No way! I think that is going to become a goal of mine-do be able to do at least one, maybe 5 pull ups. I've found a few exercises that I can do to help the progression. Also, another thing I really need some work on is doing a sit up. For some reason I can't seem to keep my feet on the ground. I know I do a lot of other ab work so I do have ab muscles but I must not be use to using whichever muscles you use for sit ups. It's always good to have some specific things to workout and aim for. So this week I'm kicking it up just a tiny bit to make up for the extra calories I consumed in birthday mode. Just one more year in my twenties and I'm in the best shape of my life!!!

10/3 Weigh In Week 57

Loss for the week: 3 lbs.

Original weight: 208.4 lbs
Last weeks weight: 152.0 lbs
Current weight:149.0 lbs.
Total loss to date:59.4 lbs.

So last week was my first week back into it. I feel like I've done this a few times and I think that this time it will stick. I hadn't really budged much since summer and I think mentally I just hit a wall and wanted a break. Summer was a time to just enjoy myself and I did that. Now that fall had begun and I have been able to settle into a routine with the kid's school schedules and my work schedule, I want to get rid of these last few lbs. I have no real idea if it will end up being 10, 20 or even 30 lbs. I will take somewhat of a see when I get there stance. Here is what my workouts looked like this week:
Mon- 90 min. walk
Tues.- 50 min. cardio fusion class, 30 min. stretch & strength class, 60 min. kickboxing class Wed.- 120 min. walk
Thurs.-60 min. boot camp class
Fri- 50 min. Jillian Michaels dvd
Sat.- 30 min. biking machine, 30 min. lifting weight, calithetics, etc.
Sun.- 75 min. walk
All week I aimed for about 1350 calories. I stuck with it most days but I did go out for a two drinks Sat. night so I have no idea how many calories those were. Overall I'm very happy with my week and hoping that by the end of October I can be out(or almost out) of the 140's and finally break into a number that I haven't seen in years.
